PATTAN || The 2nd Ali Memorial Knockout CASCO Tournament Concludes in Goushbugh area of Pattan North Kashmir’s Baramulla District on Sunday in which thousands spectators enjoyed the final match.
The purpose of this tournament was to provide proper platform to the youth of valley in the field of sports.A total of 128 teams participated in the tournament from different areas of Kashmir.
The final match was played between PMS Blues Panzipora and MMKS Nehalpora. The thrilling final match was won by PMS Blues Panzipora.
MMKK Nehalpora won the toss and elected to bat first. They scored 64 runs in 10 overs.In reply, PMS Blues Panzipora chase it easily.
During the concluding ceremony man of the match and man of the series awards was also given to the players besides medals to all the winning and runner up players.
According to the organizers of the tournament the purpose of conducting the tournament is to inculcate the sports culture among the talented Youths of the North Kashmir, which will help them to build strong foundation both physically and mentally.
Shafaat Ahmad was adjudged as man of the match for his handsome bating of 31 runs and Naveed has been given best moment of the match for his all round performance of 1 wicket ane 11 runs.
