J&K Students Association, a body of Kashmiri students here on today reacted to the statement of Uttrakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat that People from Jamia Milia and Kashmir have come to the Uttrakhand with the intention to disrupt the law and order situation by provoking people, and urged him to ensure safety and Security of Kashmiri Students rather than issuing Provocative Statements’.
In a Statement Spokesperson of Association, Nasir Khuehami said that Statement like this from Chief Minister of the State is Bizarre, Rather Shocking. This is not acceptable at any cost. He said that, Uttrakhand CM should immediately take back his Statement. The way he is behaving is totally condemnable in harshest words.
He said that, this is not good, we are peace loving People. Using our name in order to do your Politics, we understand it completely and no body has any right to use our name for his or her Political Benefits. He said that, It is very disheartening to hear such baseless and Concoted statements from a democratically elected chief Minister of a state. He must look forward to ensure and strengthen the Law and order of the state rather issuing such baseless statement. The CM must either prove his claims or take back his words, Khuehami said.
He said that students should remain silent, they should not react to the Statement given by Uttrakhand CM on Kashmir. We urge all Kashmiri studying to desist from any activity that could disrupt peace. We request all Kashmiri students to be patient, silent and behave wisely and sensibly and save their careers. Let us not involve ourselves in the mess. Do not give anybody a single chance to ruin your career, he added.
We also urged Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat not to issue Provactive statements’ to add fuel to the fire as it will create sense of fear among students as like Pulwama Blacklash. He also urged Trivendra Rawat led Govt to ensure safety of Kashmiri students in Uttrakhand State.
