Poonch, July 12: (GNS) Pakistan army on Friday morning resorted to heavy shelling and firing along Line of Control in Krishna Ghati sector of Poonch district in Jammu and Kashmir.

Reports reaching GNS said that many areas including Balnoi and Dhabraj of Mankote tehsil of Mendhar are under intense shelling from Pakistan army, which started at 8:00 in the morning.

Some shells have fallen into the residential areas, creating panic among the local populace. No loss of life has been reported so far.

Meanwhile the firing was on when this report was filed.
