Light to moderate rains to continue for another 15hrs: Kashmir Weather

Srinagar, 18 April: Most parts of Kashmir were lashed by moderate to heavy rains during past 24hrs. Reports of snowfall were also received from some upper reaches.
As per Kashmir_Weather, Srinagar recorded 11.4mm rains till 8:30 in the morning.

Qazigund, Pahalgam & Kokernag in South Kashmir recorded 22.6mm, 11.8mm & 17.6mm of rains respectively.
Talking about North Kashmir,
Gulmarg recorded a mix of snow & rain equivalent to 18.4mm. While as, Kupwara recorded 21.2mm rains in last 24hrs.

Kashmir_Weather regarding Jammu division said, Jammu City recorded 16.4mm rains during past 24 hrs. While as, Katra, Bhaderwah, Batote & Banihal recorded 23.4mm, 39.9mm, 45mm & 38.4mm of rains respectively.

Regarding Ladakh UT, he said, Leh recorded 1.4mm rains & a minimum temperature of 1.3 degrees Celsius.

Now coming to the forecast, Kashmir_Weather said, Light to Moderate rainfall over most places & maybe accompanied with thunderstorm/hail/gusty winds over few places is likely to continue for another 15 hours. Gradual improvement in weather is expected from today evening.

Hail/Gusty Winds/Thunderstorm is possible on 19th April for few places particularly towards afternoon or evening, he added.
