A 17-year-old boy drowned in river Jhelum at Drangbal area of Baramulla district on Sunday.
Locals said the boy identified as Momin Manzoor son of Manzoor Ahmad Dar of Jalsheeri was bathing in the Jhelum when he drowned.
They said that police and locals have started search operation to retrieve the body.(KC)
