The Sopore boy Abid Shaheen, who hails from Tarzoo village of Sopore in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district, has made his parents and entire locality proud by his write ups.

According to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), Shaheen released his debut poetry book in which he has written a variety of poetries especially those based on the happenings in Kashmir.

Belonging to a middle class family, the author had to cope up with harsh circumstances throughout his journey.

Author credits his success to his father who he said has helped him in shaping his life all along irrespective of situations.

Notably, ‘Undead Fantasy’ is available in market and also online on Amazon.

Shaheen told KNO that hundreds of copies were sold in the very first weeks after the book was released. He said from past five years, he has been writing articles and poetry for many newspapers of national and international reputed organizations.
