A 62 old scooty rider was killed in a road mishap in Baroosa area of central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Friday evening.
Officials sources told that the mishap occurred at Baroosa area of district when a scooty collided with a Chasis Tractor which was on its way to Baroosa from Ganderbal.
“The scooty rider got critically injured in the mishap,” the official told.
They said the injured was shifted to a district hospital Ganderbal where from he was referred to SK institute of Medical seience(SKIMS) in critical condition.
“Later he succumbed to his injuries in the hospital,” the official told .
A Senoir police officer confirmed the incident and identified the deceased as Mohammad Shafi Mir a resident of Repora Ganderba.
“The body was shifted to mortuary room of the hospital and legal formalities will be conducted,” the official told. He said a case in this regard has been registered and the investigation are going on.
