Dec 29 : Sogam, An alto 800 car bearing Regd No. JK 09 A 8176 driven by Arshad Ahmed shah of Baba Hayatpora turned turtle and went inside a drain due to the slippery road as an aftermath of snowfall in Bismillah Colony, Gundmaccher. The incident happened at about 10:15 am while the car was on its way from Baba Hayatpora to Sogam. 28 Rashtriya Rifles on being approached by local authorities swung into action and reached the spot for evacuating the injured and recovered the vehicle from the drain subsequently. While the duo in the vehicle escaped with minor injuries, the vehicle has been damaged.
The efforts of army have been praised by the locals.
