As the ancient stone came out while digging a well in the courtyard of a house, the news spread to the area and the crowd was shocked to see the statue.

The Curry police soon arrived at the scene immediately and seized the stone and later handed it over to the archaeological department.

Deputy Director of Archaeological Department Mushtaq Ahmed speaking to The Kashmiriyat said that such ancient stone was found as a unique specimen and that any ancient stone found till date is not such.
