DISTRIBUTION OF SWEETS AMONG THE CHILDREN OF DAR-UL-ISLAM CHILDREN’S HOME, SHIVA VILLAGE AND POHRUPET VILLAGE ON 14TH NOVEMBER 2020
On 14th Nov 20, Sopore Rashtriya Rifles took the opportunity to distribute sweets among the children of Dar-Ul-Islam Children’s Home, Shiva village and Pohrupet village on the occasion of Children’s Day.
This gesture was in sync with the spirit of Diwali. In an effort to bring happiness, joy and a smile to the face of the children and foster a spirit of togetherness in the community.
This gesture by the Indian Army was appreciated by the children and their families. The activities are an impetus in bridging the gap between the Indian Army and AWAM of Kashmir.
The children of Kashmir are the builders of the sense of belonging and community, in the present and in the future. The Indian Army believes in inculcating a sense of belonging and security in the children of the community through this sweet gesture on the festival of lights.
