An army soldier was killed in cross-border firing in Uri sector of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Monday.

A senior Police officer said that an army man was killed after Pakistan restored to unprovoked firing towards Indian posts in Uri sector.

He said that the Indian Army retaliated effectively to the firing by Pakistani forces.
