Srinagar, Aug 09 (GNS): Suspected militants on Sunday fired upon a BJP activist in central Kashmir’s budgam district.

Official sources told GNS the militants fired upon a BJP activist, identified as Ab. Hamid Najar (38) son of Jamal Najar resident of Moheindpora.

They said, militants fired upon him near railway station when he was on morning walk, leaving him injured

He has recieved bullet injuries in abdomen and has been shifted to SMHS hospital for treatment, the official said.(GNS)
