Modi freed J&K from NC-PDP ‘Jungle Raj’: Vibodh
Rajouri 6Dec: BJP J&K general secretary and former MLC Vibodh Gupta on Sunday said the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is the party that represents development, progress and good governance adding that it is PM Narendra Modi who liberated the people of J-K from PDD-NC ‘Jungle Raj’.
Addressing a rally that commenced from Muradpur and culminated at Sawani in favour of BJP’s DDC candidate Asif Choudhary, Vibodh Gupta strongly asserted that BJP has espoused the cause of inclusive growth leading to overall development of J&K. “Be it the remote and border areas of Rajouri Poonch, tribal groups, OBC or Pahari community, every section and region has felt secured and empowered more than ever under the vision of Hon’ble PM Narendra Modi”, he affirmed.
Vibodh accused National Conference, PDP and Congress of institutionalising nepotism and corruption and said that development was limited to one family during their tenures in government. But for the BJP Jammu and Kashmir, the family is 1.25 crore resident of UT and the party has taken a pledge to work for the interests of the people.”
He said, “The vision of Forest Act being implemented and political reservation to ST category has encouraged the tribals towards the BJP”. Speaking on Pahari community Gupta said that BJP has always been concerned with the problems faced by them and in a historic decision Modi government granted 3% reservation to the neglected youth of the Pahari community. He also highlighted the plight of OBC and said they were denied justice for the last many decades and it was only due to the sincere efforts of the Modi government that the community has received due benefits.
“The BJP supporters including Muslims and tribals will prove to be silent voters. They recognize their growth and development with BJP. They are inspired by BJP’s Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas policy,” said Vibodh Gupta. He expressed confidence and said that Gupkar Gang is no challenge for BJP as voters have rejected their corrupt and divisive politics.
Speaking on the occasion District President Rajinder Gupta appealed people to vote in favour of BJP candidate Asif Choudhary which will further empower BJP’s mission of peace and development. He highlighted various BJP led the Centre government welfare scheme which has benefited the common men and rural people. He said that the DDC election is very vital for the future of J&K and BJP is the only political party which can ensure a bright future for the people of UT.
BJP DDC candidate Asif Choudhary also appealed people to vote BJP for the overall development and said that the Sabka Sath aur Sabka Vikas vision of PM Modi has attracted every section of society to strengthen the party.
District General Secretary Ranjeet Tara thanked people for joining BJP’s rally in large numbers and contribution their support. He said that BJP has emerged as the first choice for the people of the country.
Senior BJP Leader and Rtd ADC Subash Sharma also spoke on various achievements of BJP and urged people to vote in the favour of national interest. He said that BJP can only ensure inclusive development without any discrimination.
