BSF trooper dies at Baltal in Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal


Srinagar, July 12 (GNS): A Border Security Force (BSF) personnel died of cardiac arrest at Baltal in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Friday.

Reports reaching GNS said that the BSF trooper identified as Hawa Singh fell down at Baltal. The trooper was removed to nearby health facility, setup for yatris where he breathed his last, they said.

Singh was posted with BSF’s 79 bn G coy at Ashmuqam. The incident occurred at Baltal while he was on way to Amarnath Cave to perform pilgrimage.

Confirming it, a police officer said that Singh apparently died of heart attack. (GNS)
