Baramulla, July 11: Government forces launched massive cordon and operation in Wani mohalla Maheen and ferozpora area of Tangmarg in North kashmir’s baramulla district.
Reports said that a joint team of Armed forces including Army’s 2RR, Special Operation Group of local Police and paramilitary CRPF 176BN cordoned off all the roads leading to the in Wani mohalla Maheen and ferozpora area of Tangmarg in North kashmir’s baramulla district.
Another Cordon and search operation launched in Hajin North Kashmir Bandipora district in wee hours while following credible inputs about the presence of militants in the area.
Reports said joint team of army 13 RR, CRPF, SOG and police launched massive cordon and search operation in Mir Mohalla Hajin.
Reports said door to door search operation was initiated and all the entry and exit points of the village have been sealed.
Local sources told KNO that heavy contingents of forces have been deployed in the area.
However, No contact has been established with the militants so far, they said, adding that the operation was going on when the reports last came in.
