Srinagar A 45 year old civilian was injured in a fresh ceasefire
violation by the Pakistani army in Tangdar sector of North
Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Friday.
An army official told Kashmir Despatch that Pakistan army
fired by using small arms along line of control (LOC) in Tangdar
sector of North Kashmir’s Kupwara district on early Friday. The
Indian army manning the LOC and retaliated strongly he said.

He said that a civilian identified as Nazeer Ahmed Pathan (45)
resident of Gani Tangdar was injured in the firing and was later
given special treatment.
