P2P offline, Talkies most famous apps among users in Valley, free calling facility

Srinagar, Sep 16 (KNO): Amidst continuous cellular as well as internet gag in Kashmir, the offline mobile applications are gaining momentum in the Valley with most of the youth preferring to contact with their friends living nearer to their home through these applications.

The people are currently witnessing communication blackout since August 05, 2019 as the government has suspended the services to maintain peaceful atmosphere in Kashmir.

The people especially youth contact their friends within the radius of 100-200 metres. The application amid the continuous cellular gag has helped the youth to some extent.

According to KNO Correspondent, such applications are viral among the youth. Except messages, the applications have many options including calling, video calling, group calling and others. These applications can be used in any android mobile as well as iOS.

Many of such applications are currently being used by the people including P2P offline, Talkies and others. The contact through these applications is only possible within the radius of 200 metres.

“This is the only option that we have to get connected with our dear and near ones at the present times of cellular clampdown. But, these applications don’t work beyond 100-200 metre radius, which is the only deficiency in these applications,” Musaib Ismail, a City resident said.

He added that these applications have helped them in congested City areas to contact their friends in the surroundings. (KNO)
