Srinagar June, 15 : We are living in the times of coronavirus – a global emergency that has put an abrupt stop to everyone’s daily life. Organisations have been playing a vital role in society by delivering and distributing essentials among the people.Doing its bit, Jehlum Photography Club, an Organisation has been providing certificates to corona warriors from different districts of the Kashmir Valley.
Hakeem Junaid Majeed, Founder And General Secretary of Ogranisation, said that “It is evident that due to the prevailing pandemic people are suffering from lot of anxiety.
The root of this initiative is to provide them appreciation certificates. “he added”
JPC started its appreciation certification distribution process on twelve June. They awarded both professionals and non-professionals as Health Workers, Government administrators, Journalists, social workers and among volunteers belonging to the different parts of the valley.
He further added , that the program can be expanded if we are able to broaden our horizons, to serve and reach out to the people outside valley.
Awardees and nearby people also hailed this initiative of protecting and creating awareness among the people to save their lives from pandemic COVID-19.
While speaking on the occasion DO Police post Mirgund Mr. Mohammad Ashraf Mir thanked all those who have appreciated and praised him for his efforts.
