A paramilitary Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel on Monday morning committed suicide by firing at himself with his own service rifle in Rambagh area of Srinagar district.
An Official said that Pintoo Mondal, the deceased CRPF man shot himself with his service rifle and died on the spot, he was a resident of West Bengal.
The Official said that the reason for the suicide was not not immediately known, adding that, investigations are underway in this regard.
