Coy Cdr at Kalaroos COB interacted with people from Sarkuli and Km-8 Area. It was aimed at further consolidating the existing dependable and everlasting rapport with AWAM.
During this informal talk Coy Cdr discussed various issues affecting the AWAM ranging from social welfare schemes to basic development needs of people. Coy Cdr enquired about well being of AWAM and briefed them about various initiatives being undertaken by Army in addressing the everyday’s issues of AWAM.
It was heartning to see locals appreciating and acknowledging the Army as the first responder in their needs.
Youth wholeheartedly thanked Coy Cdr for various ongoing engagement intitiatves undertaken by Army including pre recruitment training for the aspirants. Youth requested for some sports kits and engineer efforts in improving the playground at Gurdaji in Nunwani area. During the interaction it was agreed that Govt High School in Sarkuli will be adopted by COB in ensuring quality education for kids.
AWAM was assured by Coy Cdr that all the issues raised by locals will be taken up with authorities of local administration in early resolution. Certain games were organised by Children and winners were facilitated.
