Baramulla, December 03 (KNS): Deputy Commissioner Baramulla Dr G N Itoo today chaired a meeting with transporters and other concerned stakeholders to discuss various measures with regard to the regulation of fare charges and the implementation of COVID-19 SOPs and guidelines.
ADC Sopore,SDMs, ARTO Baramulla, district and sectoral officers among other concerned functionaries attended the meeting.
On the occasion, a threadbare discussion on the subject was held wherein the DC stressed upon the transporters to charge the genuine fares as prescribed by the authorities. DC warned that strict legal action shall be taken against those found in any kind of malpractice.
DC also urged upon the concerned agencies to strictly follow all the requisite COVID-19 SOPs and guidelines so that any kind of risk is mitigated. He emphasized to use face masks and maintain social distancing for averting any kind of exigencies.(KNS)
