Srinagar, April 17:(GNS) Encounter rages in Kishtwar forests between militants and goverment forces on Friday.
In a statement police said that Four days back two SPOs of Kishtwar District were attacked by two suspects of Dachan area with Axes killing one and injuring another. Police parties rushed and gave a chase through jungles and mountainous terrain.
They were reinforced with additional police parties and local Army unit.Some time back contact established and exchange of fire started. Details shall follow.(GNS)
