Fire breaks out in Army camp at Badipora’ s Watlab, one barrack damaged

Sopore, Apr 26 (KNO) : A barrack of Army camp was damaged on Sunday in a massive blaze that broke out in 27 Rashtriya Rifles (RR) Army camp, located at Sangri top area of Watlab in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district.

Officials told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), that the fire broke out in Army camp where large quantities of fuel, firearms and ammunition are stored. The cause of fire was not immediately known yet, they said. However, no loss of life or injury has been reported so far.

A police officer also confirmed the incident to KNO and said fire tenders have reached the spot and are dousing the flames. He said one bark in the camp has been damaged so far—(KNO)
