Sopore, Jan 03: Security forces launched a cordon and search operation (CASO) in Behrampora village of Rafiabad in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on early Sunday.
Reports said a joint team of army’s 22 RR, J&K police and CRPF condoned off Behrampora area and conducted house to house searches in the area. However all entry and exit points lead towards the area has been sealed off by forces.
Meanwhile police official of police district Sopore said that searches in the area was launched following inputs about the presence of militants.
Searches were going on in the area when last reports came in.
