INTER SCHOOL QUIZ COMPETITION UNDER SADHBAVANA BY INDIAN ARMY IN PATTAN

A Quiz Competition was organized by Uplona Rashtriya Riflels Battalion at Zorawar Hall, Hyderbeg Army Camp under the aegis of Headquarter 10 Sector Rashtriya Rifles on              08 Oct 2020.
The event witnessed participation from Sanctorum Higher Secondary School-Lalad, Imamia Public School-Watergam, Gousia Model School-Kulhama, Army Goodwill                   School-Honzik,  Hanfiya Model School-Kareri and Valley Public School-Nageenbag. Each team comprised of four students from 8th to 10th standard. The students were asked questions on various subjects like Sports, Culture, Science, General Knowledge etc. In the closely contested event, team from Sanctorum Higher Secondary School-Lalad stood first. At the end there was a open house question and answers session in which the audiences actively participated. The winning team, runners up and second runners up were felicitated alongwith spot prizes for the audience. The participants were also given Certificates of Participation. 

Mr Ghulam Mohammad Lone, Chief Education Officer (CEO), Baramulla honored the event with his esteemed presence. As the event was conducted amidst a COVID-19 pandemic, all safety and social distancing protocols were strictly adhered to for the 150 plus children and teachers.
The event was very well received by the students and there was palpable excitement amongst them. The students and the teachers appreciated the efforts of the Army in conducting such an event specially during the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic.
