Srinagar, July 22 (KNO): Security Forces on Wednesday busted a Jaish-e-Muhammad module by arresting three militant associates from whose possession arms and ammunition was recovered.
As per an official handout issued to news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) based on a credible input, Budgam police along with 50RR and 29BN CRPF arrested three militant associates affiliated to JeM, at Chadoora area at a checkpoint.
“They have been identified as Javaid Ahmad Bhat resident of Pulwama, Ajaz Wani resident of Chitroo Dangerpora and Aqib Ganaie resident of Khansaib,” the statement said, adding that incriminating materials including 40 rounds of AK-47, 02 detonators and 03 JeM matrix sheets were recovered from their possession.
“All the recovered materials have been taken into case records for further investigation and to probe their role and complicity in other crimes,” the statement said as per KNO.
As per the police records, the trio were involved in providing logistic support and shelter to the active militants of JeM operating in the area.
“Case FIR No. 120/2020 under relevant sections of law stands registered in Police Station Chadoora and further investigation into the case has been initiated,” the statement said—(KNO)
