‘Due to snowfall, we couldn’t reach on time’, Appeal authorities to reschedule examination for students who couldn’t appear

Sheikh Danish

Srinagar, Jan 03 (KNO): Scores of aspirants, who were scheduled to appear in the examination for the recruitment of Banking Associate in J&K Bank alleged that they were not allowed to enter the examination hall.

The aspirants while talking to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) said that due to the fresh snowfall, they couldn’t reach the examination hall on time.

“We were earlier told that the examination will begin at sharp 10:00 AM, but yesterday evening, it was informed that the examination will start at 09:00 AM in the morning,” Yasir Altaf, one among the aspirants from Mattan Anantnag said.

He said as Kashmir received fresh snowfall, the roads were not cleared early morning, thus consumed their lot of time in reaching Srinagar headquarters of the bank, where examination is being conducted.

Altaf added that over a dozen aspirants are still waiting in the lawns since 10:00 AM and urge the authorities to allow them to appear in the examination.

“Authorities should consider rescheduling the examination for those students who couldn’t appear in the examination today,” he said—(KNO)
