‘Those involved are not humans, such attacks won’t deter anyone to visit Kashmir’

Srinagar, Jan 01 (KNO): Jammu and Kashmir unit of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Friday said the killing of a goldsmith was a slap on Kashmiriyat and humanity.

Pertinently, a goldsmith identified as Satpal Nischal, owner of Nischal Jewelers was shot dead by the unknown gunmen on Thursday evening in Sarai Bala area of Srinagar.

BJP’s General Secretary (Organization), Ashok Koul, who was present during the cremation of the slain goldsmith at Shamshan Bhoomi, Karan Nagar Srinagar told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that those involved in the act are not humans.

“It is a slap on Kashmiriyat and Humanity. Such kind of incidents should not take place. I want to tell the people involved that they should bear it in their minds that these attacks won’t deter anyone from visiting Kashmir,” Koul said.

He added that it is not possible for the police to provide security to over one crore people of J&K.

Earlier, dozens of people participated in the cremation of the slain goldsmith at Karan Nagar—(KNO)
