Srinagar, Mar 12: Police in south-Kashmir’s Kulgam district claimed to have recovered at least fifty grams of Charas-like substance from an alleged drug-peddler on Friday afternoon.
A police official told GNS that a drug-peddler was intercepted by a team, following which at least fifty grams of charas-like substance were recovered from his possession.
The alleged drug-peddler, as per the official, was arrested on the spot even as a Scooty used in the commission of crime also seized.
“An FIR number 20/2021 under sections 8/20, 15 NDPS has been taken up in police station DH Pora and further investigations taken up”, the official said. (GNS)
