Kulgam, June 10 (KNO): A six-year-old boy was mauled to death by a leopard at Manzgam area of Damhal Hanjipora in South Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Tuesday evening.

A police officer told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), that the leopard attacked the boy namely Umman Farooq Baba, son of of Farooq Ahmad Baba when he was near his house at Manzgam area of Damhal Hanjipora at around 08:30 pm on Tuesday.

The screams of the boy caught the attention of the family and the neighbours who rushed to the spot and retrieved the boy from clutches of the leopard in critical conditions.

They rushed the boy immediately to the Primary Health Centre (PHC) where doctors declared him brought dead—(KNO)
