Once again KALAROOS is in news but this time its not for any anti national activities but for the landmark initiative towards humanity and social cause. COVID-19 pandemic has changed the whole world and so has changed the people of Kalaroos. Awami leader, Mr Farooq Ahmed Peer & Sarpanch Dogerpora Fareeda Begum has donated thier land measuring approx 3 canal to Civil administration for construction of Civil hospital for AWAM of Kalaroos. This initiative has not only shown the humane nature but has also prooved that AWAM also want to walk on path of peace and prosperity. To mark the start of this new era and this initiative, Kalaroos(A) Sarpanch (Mrs Fareeda Begum), Junaid Irahad, Gowher Hissam and Sohail of Kalaroos have come forward and organised a Volleyball tournament for the youth of the area. The event was attended by Kalaroos(A) Sarpanch (Fareeda Begum), BDC Chairman (Abdul Rashid), Block President (Farooq Ahmad Pir), DO Kalaroos (Mohammad Iqbal), lot of villagers also came to watch the legendary tournament. Almost 30 teams will be taking part in this tournament to prove that AWAM has realised the importance of physical exercise to boost the immunity to fight the COVID-19 pandemic. The youth is whole heartedly participating in this event to show that Exercises not only changes the body, it changes the mind, attitude and the mood as well.
HUMDARD-E-KUPWARA Bn under the aegis of HAJIPIR Bde and VAJRA Div is actively lending full support for establishment of Civil Hospital and also the Volleyball tournament.
