Handwara, Jul 31: A middle-aged man was critically injured on Wednesday after a wild bear attacked him in Braripora area of Handwara in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.

Reports said that a man was identified as Ghulam Ahmad Malik son of Abdul Aziz Malik resident of Braripora Handwara was attacked and injured by a bear in the nearby paddy fields.

The injured was shifted to district hospital Handwara for treatment. (KNS)
