Sajad Muniwari, a senior journalist from South Kashmir’s Islamabad (Anantnag) district today met with a road accident near the Mir Bazar area of Qazigund in South Kashmir.
Sajad was driving his car, when an over-speeding vehicle travelling on the wrong side of the road hit his vehicle near the Mir Bazar, causing injuries to the Journalist.
Muniwari, who works as a correspondent for Daily excelsior after being injured was rushed to the District Hospital of Islamabad (Anantnag) after the locals rushed to his help.
Sajad, is being treated at the District Hospital, where the Doctors examining Sajad told The Kashmiriyat that he has sustained serious wounds on his head, “But his condition is stable,” a doctor said.
The Kashmiriyat team reached the hospital to inquire about the well being of the senior journalist.
