Srinagar :Awami Ittihaad Party (AIP) Senior Leader Pirzada Firdous Ahmad has lambasted at government for not completing pending projects in District Kupwara. In a press statement issued today which read. “There are number of development projects in Kupwara district which of great public importance but are languishing because of want of funds. The projects espacially Tumina Chowkibal Bridge, Kunan Poshwari Bridge, Kralpora Bridge are pending since decades for either want of funds or work has been kept on halt which is unfortunate. Local successive representatives have started the work for their political benefits and never bothered for completion of these projects. It astonishing that lack of bridge at Tumina Chowkibal has claimed at least three lives till now but has not shaken the local successive representatives government.” Mr Firdous has appealed government for early completion of these projects espacially bridge which are most public importance.
