Baramulla: The subscribers of private telecommunication companies like Jio have complained about erratic calling and Internet services in a Babgund village of Rafiabad North Kashmir Baramulla district.
People said that they are facing immense problems due to erratic calling and internet services for last several years in area.
“We are unable to contact our nears and dears as every time we dial the number, the network comes either busy, switched off, number does not exist or shows not network coverage,” said aggrieved residents adding that due to poor network call drops happen frequently. He said that they always have to visit miles from their village to make phone calls due to poor network in the village.
He said that despite repeated requests to the concerned officials in the area, the service has not been improved.“The service is so poor that we are not able to make Video call and streaming video in other browsers is so low even under the same roof. We will be forced to surrender the Sim cards if the company did not improve its services,” he added
They requested the authorities to look into the inconvenience faced by the people.
