Srinagar, June 23:(GNS) As the encounter spree continues in South Kashmir, Two militants has been killed and one CRPF personal critically wounded in an ongoing operation in Bandzoo area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
Inspector General of Police Kashmir Zone Vijay Kumar told GNS that in an ongoing firefight two unidentified militant has been killed so far.
Earlier According to the reports reaching GNS, a joint team of Police, Army’s 55 RR and CRPF launched a cordon-and-search-operation in Bandzoo.
As the joint team encircled the suspected spot, the hiding militants fired upon them. The fire was retaliated by the joint team, triggering off an encounter.(GNS)
