Handwara November 7 : To motivate the youth towards physical fitness, Army organised a ‘Rajwar Run for Peace ’ for young boys & ‘Walkathon’ for young girls at Rajwar Handwara North Kashmir Kupwara District on Saturday morning.
The ‘Rajwar Run for Peace ’ & ‘Walkathon’ was flagged off by Mayor, Handwara Mr Bandhe and commander 7 Sect RR Big MS Rathore. The Rajwar Peace Run/ Walkathon was organised in two categories to include Boys & Girls. As many as of 240 men and 38 women participated in the run.
The youth showed their interest in the events and expressed their desire to keep physical fitness & stay fit. The event culminated with attractive prizes and cash worth 25,000/- was given away to the winners winners along with participation certificates for all.
The occasion was also graced by J&K Ranji players Iqra Rasool and Khushboo Jaan. The event was also attended by principals of various schools and colleges.
