Sringara july 04: Chak Kigam Camp under aegis of Charkut Garrison organised a massive Road Safety drive at Nutnussa on 03 Jul 2020. The event was organised with an aim to create awareness on Road Safety, Traffic rules and regulations. The event was carried out keeping increase in road accidents, particularly of two wheelers.
During the event primarily two wheelers were targeted who were educated on importance of following traffic rules and regulations. Also, reasons of road accident and to avoid the same were told to them. The event was organised spontaneously in which vehicles were stopped at different Nakas established on NH 701 A and two wheeler rider were distributed with helmets with strict compliance to follow road safety. An unison effort from each and everyone will definitely reduce the number of accidents and make road safer. Continuous effort of Army to connect AWAM with JAWAN and the noble cause to spread awareness on road safety was well appreciated by locals.
