SRINAGAR, JULY 05 (PTK):Sanjay Dutt And Alia Bhatt to head to Kashmir For Sadak. The shooting of the film is in progress.

Reports said that for an upcoming schedule of the film, the team will be heading to Kashmir for the shoot. “The film revolves around a godman and so a lot of scenes will be shot at the character’s aashram. This aashram will be based in Kashmir.” The location which is translated as ‘heaven on Earth’ will be perfect to host a place for spirituality.

Produced by Vishesh Films, the film also stars Pooja Bhatt and Aditya Roy Kapur. As per news reports, Sanjay plays the role of a depressed man Ravi, who happens to meet Shreya played by Alia.

The latter is on a journey to unveil a fake guru running an aashram. The film stars Makarand Deshpande as the fake good man and Gulshan Grover in an interesting role. It is slated to release on July 10, next year.

It’s said that on the first day of the film’s shoot, Mahesh and Sanjay got emotional and teary-eyed. They hugged and comforted each other before beginning the shoot.

For the unaware, the earlier part of Sadak was a romantic thriller and revolved around a love story between a taxi driver and a woman forced into prostitution. After being a part of films like Bhoomi and Kalank, Sanjay will now be seen in films like Panipat, Shamshera, Bhuj: The Pride of India and Prasthanam. (PTK)
