Srinagar, March 14 : A 22-year-old youth has suffered injury in his left eye due to pellets fired by government forces to disperse protesters amid a gunfight at Rawalpora area in Shopian district of south Kashmir on Sunday.

The injured youth has been identified as Arif Ahmed Wagay son of Nazir Ahmed Wagay of Rakhnara Shopain.The 22-year-old has suffered injury in his left eye, Dr Nazir Choudhary, Medical Superintendent SMHS hospital where the youth has been admitted, told GNS.
“He is admitted in ward 8,” the medical superintendent said. (GNS)
