Sopore: 31th October 2020: Sopore Police organized “Run for Unity” under the Banner of Police Flag Day Celebrations-2020, at railway road Amargrah Sopore. The participation was overwhelming and participants from all age groups participated in the RunforUnity. Ssp Sopore and other officers of the Police District participated in the Unity Run. The Run was flagged off by SSP Sopore Shri. Javaid Iqbal-JKPS at 10:00 am from Railway road Amargrah to Seer Crossing. After the conclusion of the Run for Unity, the presentation ceremony was held at Railway Station Sopore.
On the presentation ceremony SSP Sopore Shri. Javaid Iqbal-JKPS in his brief adress to the participants, appreciated their resolve to make the event a success in such a cold morning and hit the ground on time. SSP Sopore also appreciated the enthusiasm shown by very young kids, who were part of the Run for Unity, and in displaying their commitment to complete the run. SSP Sopore told participants that win or loss doesn’t matter, what matters is your enthusiasm, energy and spirit that you all exhibit throughout the game.
SSP Sopore was flanked by DySp Headquarters, DySp DAR Sopore, SHO Sopore and Tarzoo and other officers of the Police District Sopore.
SSP Sopore distributed the prizes among the position holders in the Run for Unity. He was accompanied by the officers of the Police District at the presentation ceremony.
The participants thanked Sopore Police for promoting the budding talent of the valley especially of Police District Sopore and have expressed their gratitude for their youth engagement programs.
