SOPORE POLICE ORGANIZED A SINGlNG COMPETITION-2019 “TALENT HUNT” AT DISTRICT POLICE LINES SOPORE, UNDER CIVIC ACTION PROGRAMME (CAP)

Sopore, 01/07/2019: Sopore Police today organised a “Talent Hunt” singing competition under Civic Action Programme under the banner of “Choona Hai Aasman“ at District Police Lines Sopore for three (03) age groups viz, 05-12 years group one, 13-17 years group two, 18-25 years group three. in which both boys and girls from different educational institutions participated.
SSP Sopore Shri. Javaid Iqbal-JKPS briefed about the event organised by Sopore Police under Civic Action Programme. On the occasion SSP Sopore, said ” our valley is full of talent and youth needs to be motivated to excel in different fields and sole objective of these programmes is to provide a platform to those children who generally do not get opportunity to present themselves”.
Sopore Police are highly thankful to the members of music band “Expandables” who’s professional extended support to make this event successful.
SSP Sopore presented momento to the Music band and the jury members of the ”Talent Hunt” singing competition, jury members were Shafi Sopori and contest observer Showkat Majaz.
Following singers succeeded in each group who shall participate at range level competition viz: Age group (5-12) 1st-Shahid Subhan, 2nd-Shahid Zahoor, 3rd-Sobia Fayaz.
Age group (13-18) 1st-Musharaf Maqsood, 2nd-Mohammad Inayat Lone, 3rd-Idrees Ahmad Dar.
Age group (19-25) 1st-Nazir Firdous, 2nd-Taufeeq Ahmad and 3rd-Dawar Ahmad Bhat.
On the occasion chief guest SSP Sopore and guest of honour SDPO Sopore Shri. Raja Majid-JKPS, DySP DAR Sopore Shri. Ghulam Mohiudin Bhat DySp PC Sopore Shri. Vikram Singh-JKPS, DySp PC Wadoora Shri. Vinod Kumar-JKPS SHO Police Station Tarzoo, Panzla, Bomia, DO Police Post Putkha, Warpora, Fruit Mandi distributed prizes among the position holders who got 1st. 2nd. & 3rd. Position in each group.
