Sopore December 06 : ULB Elections MC Sopore 13 wards are vacant in Sopore Municipal Council, mother and daughter filing nomination.
Reports said that, the wife of veteran and senior congress leader Lt Ghulam Rasool kar of Sopore file her nomination form in ward no. 10 In Iqbal nagar sopore, it is a first time she has taken part in any format of elections as independent candidate.
While as her daughter who also first time has file nomination in ward no. 13 model Town Sopore, she is fray as national conference candidate in north kashmir’s sopore where polling is to be observed on 16th of December 2020.
The duo are contesting for the same and these elections were held in 2018 but people boycotted and left seats vacant now relating for these wards mother daughter are contesting from two different wards .
32 candidates who contest 11 wards in Sopore Municipal Council Elections. These wards remain Vacant after people boycotted ULB Elections in 2018 including ward 6, 9, 11, 12,13,14,15,16,18,19 and 20 Wards.
