Poonch, June 30 : A tempo traveller bearing registration number JK02AW 8014 carrying 14 Yatries was seized on Mughal road for defying the orders of district Magistrate.
Sources said the vehicle was on way to valley via Mugal road and was intercepted by police for ferrying Yatris in violation of district Magistrate orders that no Yatra vehicle will be allowed to ply on Mughal road.
The vehicle was seized by police station surankote and an FIR no 155/19 u/s 188 RPC wae registered. An official told that the driver namely Ashok Kumar son of Pyare Lal of Kot Bhalwal Jammu was also arrested.
Meanwhile the district Magistrate has order that no Yatra vehicle is allowed on Mugal road. “Any violation of this order will face stern legal action,” reads the order.
