Police launches manhunt

Sopore, July 15 (KNO): Vice President for Municipal Committee (MC) Watergam, Sopore Mehrajudin Malla was abducted by unknown people on Wednesday morning, police said.
A police official told the news agency— Malla son of Ghulam Ahmad Malla of Marazigund, Sopore was whisked away by some unknown people from his residence at 9 am and there is no trace of him so far.
Official sources said the police has launched a manhunt to nab those behind the alleged kidnapping of Malla. “Police are verifying the details. Massive manhunt has been launched to trace out the abducted man. Police has also issued an alert and a tightened vigil is being maintained at all entry and exit points in Sopore,” he said—(KNO)
