Meets SDM, CDPO, Tehsildar, apprises them about need of resolving public issues on priority
Srinagar, June 3: Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) State spokesman Altaf Thakur conducted an extensive tour to Tral area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district in a bid to ensure timely grievance redressal system. Thakur met the street vendors and took up their issue with the Sub District Magistrate (ADM) Tral who assured him that issue will be resolved by Saturday.
In a statement issued here, Thakur met various delegations in Tral and gave them a patient hearing. He said that the SDM assured him that proper space will be given to the vendors by Saturday. Thakur said he also met Child Development Protection Officer (CDPO) in Tral and took up the issue of nutrition to children admitted in various Aganwadi Centre in the area. He said there are 357 Aganwadi Centres in the areas. Thakur also met Tehsildar Tral and took up the issues of public importance and sought their redressal on time. He also visited Sub district hospital Tral and met Block Medical Officer and sought details of patient care in the hospital. He assured all the possible support to the BMO in ensuring quality health care in the hospital.
Thakur said that various public delegations apprised him about the issues of bad roads in the area and also the non-availability of electric poles and transformers in Tral area. He said that all the important issues were noted by him and simultaneously he apprised the Tehsildar of the area about the same and sought immediate attention of the administration towards these issues.
