Army celebrated 72nd Constitution/ National Law Day on 26 Nov 2020 by reiterating the importance of the constitution and the vital role played by the Army in upholding the Constitution in Kashmir. The Preamble was read by all ranks and a pledge was taken to maintain the sanctity of the Constitution of India.
The day was also celebrated by felicitating members of Judiciary in recognition of their yeoman service to the society and their contribution in shaping the lives of common people in Kashmir. A ceremony was organised wherein 10 lawyers of Kupwara were falicitated by the Army. The ceremony recognised the close association of the judiciary and Army in Kupwara and reiterated joint responsibility for the Awam of Kupwara.
