A Medical camp was organised by Sagribatpora Army Camp of 29 RR Bn on 07 Nov for the people of Sagribatpora and adjoining villages with an aim to provide medical assistance to the villagers.
The Medical camp commenced with talk by RMO 29 RR on measures for protection from COVID-19 and importance of Community and Personal Hygiene for a Healthy Society, followed by detailed health check up of all patients by RMO 29 RR, Doctor Ashraf from PHC, Batoota and a Lady Doctor Mrs Yashmin from Primary Health Centre, Chaksari. A total of 256 people to include 126 ladies and 55 children were treated and provided with free medicines.
Overwhelming response received from the people for the event. They requested for such more events benefitting the local populace especially the lower strata of the society. The noble gesture of Army were appreciated by one and all especially elders and ladies.
