Sopore, July 11 : Government Forces on Thursday midnight launched massive cordon-and-search operation in Bomai village of Sopore in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
Reports said that a joint team of army’s 22 RR, 179 BN CRPF, 92 BN CRPF, 177 BN CRPF, SOG Sopore and QRT Baramulla laid a siege at Bomai village of Sopore while following suspecious movement of militants in the area.
Local reports said, forces have installed the lights in the area and conducted door to door search operation.
However, No contact has been established with the militants so far, they said, adding that the search was going on when the reports last came in
