Shepherd injured in bear attack in Kunzar

Baramulla, July 07 (KNO): A shepherd was injured in a bear attack in Kunzar forest area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Tuesday.

An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the shepherd was attacked by a bear when he went to the forest area with a flock sheep.

He identified the injured shepherd as Mohammad Rafiq Chichi son of Nakir Hussain Chichi, a resident of Poonch.

The official said that the injured shepherd was shifted to sub-district hospital Kunzar from where doctor referred him to SMHS Srinagar for advanced treatment—(KNO)
